Your purpose is obvious
Form follows function — that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union. — Frank Lloyd Wright
The purpose of a thing is defined by its creator. Inherently in its design is the purpose it is meant to serve.
Bowls are meant to hold food and buildings are meant to house people. The functions of these objects serve the needs of those who use them. A bowl keeps food contained in a limited space. The curvature of the bottom is such that it conforms to the curvature of a spoon so that the contents of the bowl can be efficiently retrieved.
I’m tall. I can reach and see things on upper shelves. I’m forever being asked to replace a light bulb, grab the dishes from the on high or see what’s ahead in a crowd. I had no choice in my height and yet, I’m suited to serve the needs of others through it. It’s a part of who I am. My form is my function.
Who are you perfectly suited to serve?
Take inventory of your physical attributes and personality. Don’t overlook the small things. The things that you do without thinking or the things you do that are part of who you are. Form and function are one. It’s obvious.
