The fastest way to get better at a sport is to practice, not buy more equipment

Your training and discipline are what makes you a better player.

No matter the sport or activity you’re into, this piece of advice counts for everyone.

You’re not going to become a better player by buying the latest and greatest gear. So don’t be fooled by aggressive advertising from designing companies.

Money can’t buy results

There’s an endless stream of upgrades for athletes to sink their money into, but the need for these products is subjective. It’s human nature to want the newest and coolest thing. But just because everyone else has it doesn’t mean you’ll get more out of it than your less expensive options.

Everyone likes to talk about how much gear they have and how awesome it is. Whether it’s their new high-end stick or the latest high-tech protective gear, there’s nothing quite like using the latest equipment.

It’s nice to have the best, but the truth be told, having all the latest gear isn’t going to make you a better player. Sure, some of it can help you out in certain situations, but in the end your training, discipline, and work ethic are what will separate you from the rest of your…
