Many project team problems can be resolved by making their daily communication more effective.

Teams that communicate well are better positioned to accomplish group goals, coordinate efforts and foster collaboration.

Here are some tips to help you improve your team communication:

Get all team members on the same page, literally and figuratively

It can be difficult to get team members onboard when most of them are not located in the same office space.

It’s easy to think everyone knows what the other team members are doing, when in reality that may not be the case. And if you are the project manager, it is important to have a good grasp of your team’s work and to make sure that everyone on the team is in sync.

Have your team members meet in person.
